Instructions

Blue diamonds are natural!

How to take a test

After completing your registration, connect your phone to your detector to start the test.

Please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.

2. Hold the power button on the back of the detector

Hold for three seconds to turn on your diamond detector.

3. Tap "Menu" at the bottom right of your screen.

4. Tap on "Connect Box".

5. Tap "Scan device - off". (It changes to "Scan devices on")

6. Tap on the relevant Yehuda device.

7. Tap the camera icon. A white light will appear inside your detector once the camera is active.

8. Point the camera at the object you want to test, zoom in or out as needed.

9. Focus by tapping the screen.

10. Tap on "Run test".

Congratulations! You have just performed your first test.

To run a new test, tap the orange button

bottom left of the screen.

To add more files, tap "Next" then you can continue

to store more results in your cloud.

RESULT PICTURES

Natural diamonds are blue and not red colored

2023-06-07 09_36_25-14176_YEHUDA_ManualAdditions-single.pdf.png

Natural diamonds shine ONLY in blue color. Every kind of Blue

LUV PICTURES

Some natural diamonds will fluoresce under long exposure to UV light.
Lab grown diamonds will NEVER show blue fluorescence under long exposure to UV light!

CVD LAB GROWN DIAMONDS

RESULT PICTURE

2023-06-07 10_15_51-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

Lab-grown diamonds shine a NOT blue color and/or are colored red in whole or in part.

GLOWING RESULT (Phosphorescence)

2023-06-07 10_16_05-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

A diamond grown in a CVD lab may or may not show phosphorescence. If it has phosphorescence, it will appear red in the RESULT figure.

HPHT LAB GROWN DIAMONDS

RESULT PICTURE

2023-06-07 10_24_15-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

The diamonds grown in the HPHT laboratory in the picture above are complete red dyed.

GLOWING RESULT

Diamonds grown in the HPHT laboratory show a very strong phosphorescence. ALWAYS IN BLUE. The glow of these diamonds is rendered into the RESULT image by the software Red converted.

HPHT & CVD LAB GROWN DIAMONDS TOGETHER

RESULT PICTURE

2023-06-07 10_31_50-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

All of the diamonds in the upper part of this image are HPHT lab diamonds and are colored entirely red. The 8 diamonds in the lower part of the picture are diamonds grown in the CVD laboratory. They are NOT BLUE and some are partially colored red.

COLORED PICTURES

2023-06-07 10_32_10-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

HPHT diamonds from the laboratory show blue fluorescence but are colored red due to their phosphorescence.

Diamonds grown in the CVD lab fluoresce in non-blue colors.

GLOWING RESULT

2023-06-07 10_39_35-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

Laboratory grade HPHT diamonds show very strong phosphorescence in a blue color. CVD lab grown diamonds show a very faint

phosphorescence or none at all.

LUV RESULT

2023-06-07 10_39_49-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

Laboratory HPHT and CVD diamonds do not show fluorescence under long UV illumination.

FLASHLIGHT EFFECT

GLOWING PICTURES

2023-06-07 10_49_06-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

The Oval HPHT lab diamond above shows very strong phosphorescence and acts like a flashlight, illuminating the natural diamonds in its vicinity. Therefore, on the RESULT image, the diamonds are marked in red.

RESULT PICTURES

The oval is a diamond grown in the HPHT laboratory. The diamonds next to it are natural

Diamonds, but they are partial red colored. You always have to pick the diamond that

complete red colored to be sure of the result of the other diamonds.

NO RED COLOR - THE STONES ARE NATURAL.

As can be seen above, after the test is done without the OVAL stone, the stones are no longer partially colored red. The oval acted like a flashlight on the surrounding natural stones.

LUV PICTURES

2023-06-07 11_02_51-BLAU [Schreibgeschützt] - Word.png

Under long UV illumination, the oval (a diamond grown in the HPHT lab) shows no fluorescence. Some of the natural diamonds show fluorescence.

As seen above, after taking out the oval stone, which works like a flashlight, some natural diamonds show fluorescence under long UV illumination.

SIMULANTEN

Non-diamonds show no fluorescence or phosphorescence at all. That means it has no light under the special light or under a long UV lighting. If they show any color at all, it's just a REFLECTION. You can easily tell if the stone shines or just reflects some light.

RESULT AND COLORED PICTURES

The top 2 stones are moissanite.

The 2nd row of stones are CZ.

The bottom 3 stones:

- The left stone is a HPHT diamond from the lab.

- The center stone is a CVD diamond from the lab.

- The right stone is a natural diamond.

GLOWING RESULT

LUV RESULT

FALSE POSITIVE

False positive means that a natural diamond will get the result of a lab grown diamond. This occurs in about 2.5% of natural diamonds. To further reduce this rate, we MUST check the LUV result (LONG UV).

If a diamond shows BLUE fluorescence under the LUV illumination, it is 100% a natural diamond.

RESULT PICTURE

LUV PICTURE

Here we have a result of a lab grown diamond.

HOWEVER: If we look at the LUV (LONG UV) result - both diamonds show blue fluorescence.

That means both are NATURAL diamonds!!!

Please note:Some natural diamonds that give a false positive will NOT shine under the long UV exposure.
